When you apply for a position through this website, we collect:

• Identity data: Full name
• Contact data: Email address, phone number
• Professional data: Resume/CV, job preferences, screening question responses
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (via server logs)
• Consent records: Your data processing and WhatsApp contact preferences

We do notcollect: Aadhaar number, passport number, date of birth, gender, marital status, blood group, or parents' names during the application process.

3. Why We Collect It

• To process your job application
• To communicate with you about your application status
• To send relevant WhatsApp messages (only if you opt in)
• To conduct AI-assisted candidate screening (with your submitted information only)
• To improve our recruitment process

4. Legal Basis

We process your personal data based on your explicit consent, given when you submit an application and tick the data processing consent checkbox. This consent is unbundled — we never pre-tick consent boxes, and WhatsApp contact is a separate opt-in.

5. How We Store It

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform and Supabase) with encryption at rest and in transit. Resumes are stored in Google Cloud Storage. Access is restricted to authorized HR personnel.

6. Data Retention

Applicant data is retained permanently to support future recruitment and to maintain our talent pool. Candidates who are no longer actively considered may be moved to an archive within our system. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).

7. Who Has Access

Your data is accessed only by Digital SEO's HR team and authorized administrators. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Our AI screening tools process your information only to generate internal candidate insights for our recruitment team.

8. Your Rights (DPDP Act 2023)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request corrections to inaccurate data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
• Withdraw consent: Withdraw your consent at any time
